Paraguay Central Bank Lifts Key Rate to Four-Year High of 5.5%

Paraguay’s central bank hiked its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 5.5%, increasing rates for the sixth month in a row, as inflation expectations show signs of peaking.
